Nnamdi Asomugha (/ˈnɑːmdiː ˈɑːsəmwɑː/ NAHM-dee AH-səm-wah; born July 6, 1981) is an American cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft (31st overall) by the Oakland Raiders and played college football for the Golden Bears at the University of California, Berkeley. He is considered to be one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL.
