    Rob Gronkowski (born May 14, 1989) is an American football tight end for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Patriots in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Arizona.

    Gronkowski owns a number of NFL tight end scoring and receiving records, including the single-season records for tight ends for most receiving touchdowns (17), most total touchdowns (18), and most receiving yards (1,327), all set in 2011.
