Report: Tigers agree to deal with right-handed reliever Octavio Dotel

The “Detroit Tigers”: made a move to bolster their bullpen on Monday when they came to terms with right-hander Octavio Dotel for the 2012 season, including an option for 2013. Dotel, 38, has pitched for 12 previous teams in his career, most recently with the Cardinals, where he posted a 2.61 ERA in 12 postseason appearances last season en route to a World Series title.

Dotel went a combined 5-4 with a 3.50 ERA for Toronto and St. Louis during the 2011 season
