Tayshaun Prince agrees to four-year deal to stay in Detroit

Tayshaun Prince was being severely courted by the Clippers, and Chicago. Keeping Prince in Detroit signifies that the Pistons are not in rebuild mold, but looking to compete in the east, this season. The deal is reportedly worth $27 million spread over four years. The Pistons were at $47.8 million worth of payroll (not including salary holds), the addition of Prince gives the Pistons some flexibility to potentially use their amnesty clause this season, on Charlie Villanueva.
