Not that Chris Carpenter, the one who appeared in ten games last season for the Cubs, pitched in 9.2 innings, and a WHIP of 1.966. Carpenter was a third round pick in 2008 by the Cubs, and isn’t considered a top rated prospect by most (if not all) scouts.
