St. Louis Rams Shopping the No.2 Pick?

The fact that the St. Louis Rams are entertaining the notion of trading the second overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft is not surprising in the least, as the Rams are in desperate need of more talent on both sides of the ball. As Profootballtalk.com reports, football insider Peter King is convinced that the Rams will trade the second overall pick in this year’s draft “for sure.”

Keep in mind that many top football executives use King as an unofficial news syndicate in an effort to circulate information, and inflate the market. We wouldn’t be surprised if this is one of those instances.

NFL teams usually pretend that they aren't set on trading out of a certain draft position; just that they are "open" to making a move. The Rams don't seem interested in playing this game. They don't need to play games; they know how valuable Robert Griffin III is. SI.com's Peter King talked to Rams COO…
