In 2009, eight Big East teams were granted NCAA Tournament berths; two survived the first weekend. Last year, a record-setting eleven Big East teams seized tourney bids; once again, only two made it to the Sweet Sixteen. Thus, in a conference known for quantity over quality, are nine tournament-bound squads reason for celebration? Upon brief observation, there does not appear a 2011 UConn title team among this year's Big East squads. Below, I've ranked each Big East team, based on its chances of dancing in the Superdome (from least likely to most likely).
