The 2012 NHL playoffs are slated to begin on Wednesday, setting the stage for the two best months of hockey you can possibly find. If you're a fan of the game, you already know that anything and everything can happen in a seven-game series. With the increased exposure of the game on television this postseason, the league could attract more fans. This possibility is especially true with the great matchups that are lined-up across the board. From interstate rivalries to divisional bouts, there isn't one series that legitimately screams sweep.
