The Dallas Cowboys offense went through a lot of inconsistencies in 2011, thanks in large part to their number one receiving threat, Miles Austin, missing six games with hamstring injuries and playing at less than 100% in several others. But he admitted in an interview with Men’s Health that he was not fully prepared to play last season, especially conditioning wise. Though he refused to make any excuses for himself, much of that was likely due to the lockout preventing teams from holding offseason workouts, allowing players to fall out of shape during the winter and spring. But Austin says that won’t be a problem this year, as he is already in full-preparation mode and plans to be ready to go the full 16 games in 2012.
