Tampa Bay tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. will not be a Buccaneer for much longer, as the seven-year veteran was told by the team to stay home during OTAs, and that they will look to trade him in the coming days. While Winslow has hardly been a model citizen during his NFL career (four years with the Browns and the past three with the Bucs), he has averaged over 790 yards receiving in three years since being made a full-time starter in Tampa and should be able to net them a 4th or 5th round pick in a trade.
Possible destinations include both the Jets and Giants, as well as teams like the Bears, Lions, and 49ers who might want to replicate something like New England’s two-tight end system.
