Report: Deron Williams has Lakers on his list (behind Nets)

The Nets took a gamble by not trading point guard Deron Williams at the deadline, thinking that they’ll be able to re-sign him this summer or at least get something for him in a sign-and-trade. According to Sam Amick of SI (via PHT), that might just work out. Williams has expressed interest in joining Kobe with the Lakers, but since he would not be able to get nearly as much from them as a free agent if he declines his player option, a sign-and-trade would enable him to get a longer deal for a much higher annual salary under the new CBA.
