After firing his agent, Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora agreed to a restructured deal with the team on Friday afternoon that will still allow him to become a free agent after the 2012 season but gives him a raise of about $3 million. He had been due to earn just under $4m and had been unhappy about his salary for several years. But he was back on the field with his teammates at OTAs on Monday morning, and the rest of the team is thrilled to not have to deal with the distraction that his absence would have caused had he not been at training camp later this summer.
