The English National team will be under the microscope yet again as they prepare for another major cup competition. Qualifying for the knockout rounds out of Group D won’t be easy for the English, as they will have to deal with a promising French team, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Sweden, and a Ukraine side who will be playing with home-field advantage.
France will be looking to make amends for their total collapse in the 2010 World Cup in which former manager Raymond Domenech could not maintain control of his team and was forced to send players home. Sweden failed to qualify for the 2010 World Cup, along with Ukraine.
