The San Francisco 49ers were without a deep threat last season despite making the NFC Championship game, a deficiency that they hope will be solved by the injection of Randy Moss into the offense. Moss hasn’t played an NFL game in over a year having retired after the 2010 season, but has been impressing the Niners coaching staff at every turn in their offseason workouts, and could add a brand-new dimension to the San Francisco offense in 2012.
