According to reports, the Philadelphia 76ers will offer RFA free agent Lavoy Allen a two-year deal reportedly worth $6 million (fully guaranteed) in both years. Allen performed brilliantly down the stretch, and specifically in the playoffs this past season with a PER of 17.1, averages of 6.3 PPG and 4.9 REB, and a shooting percentage of 58.3. While the Sixers still have to contend with Elton Brand’s contract (which expires after this season), Allen will most likely be given the opportunity to start as their power forward in training camp.
There is plenty of speculation that Philadelphia might look to move Andre Iguodala, who will make $14.7 million next season and has a player option the following year for $15.9 million. The 76ers are also interested in bringing back their leading scorer Lou Williams, who declined his player option in the hopes of landing a more lucrative one this summer.
