TJ Peterson is a freshman at NYU who writes about soccer for TheFanHub. He hopes to spread appreciation of the world’s most popular sport in the United States with his writing. While he still supports his former hometown club Fort Lauderdale Strikers, he also roots for Everton FC in the English Premier League and the New York Red Bulls in the MLS. TJ is also an avid hockey fan, and roots for the Florida Panthers in the NHL. Growing up in Villanova, PA connected TJ with the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, as well as the Villanova Wildcats basketball team. He is the son of two University of Florida graduates, and their Gator fandom has rubbed off him as well.
